Project 2000 Inc., a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Corporation Chartered in the State of Tennessee, established the first recycling program in Public Housing in the United States in the nineties which was duplicated in other US cities and Puerto Rico. Project 2000 continues to promote recycling education through practice, presentations, workshops and an annual recycling summit.

How Will it Help Project 2000?

• Your license plate will be manufactured from recycled metal and proceeds will benefit Project 2000, Inc.
• Proceeds Benefit Project 2000’s Environmental, Cultural, Community Health, and Economic Development Initiatives.

Once we attain the pre-sale goal, the plates will be produced and mailed directly to those who ordered one. After the first 1,000 license plates are sold the plates will be available at all of Tennessee’s County Clerk offices.
